New screen on terminal

Since yesterday, a new screen appears when using the pin terminal. It gives instructions in large letters, is it possible to change or remove this?

Can you try to remove the battery for a couple minutes and restart?

It looks like the issue might be due to an internet disconnection. Could you try switching your terminal to Wi-Fi instead of 4G.

This didn’t fix the issue unfortunately, is there a way to force a reset?

Is this issue occurring consistently? Or just once in a while? We are still investigating so more information would be helpful.

This is how the pin terminal looks with every payment. Since it started, it has been this way for every transaction (even with removing the battery and on/off reset)

But its not blocking accepting payments right? You can still continue but its more about the layout?

Payments go through fine, sorry if that was unclear. But I would really like to change/simplify the look of the payment screen, because it’s actually more confusing for customers than the previous version

No worries! The layout of this screen is managed by Adyen, so it’s unfortunately outside of our control. We’ll reach out to them to see if any adjustments are possible and share this as feedback.

hey, we received a reply from Adyen that they confirmed that the font was made bigger to meet accessibility requirements. Unfortunately, there is no way to change this font size.
